The year 2023 is the 50th anniversary of the Chinese American Librarians Association (CALA). To celebrate this milestone, the Public Relations & Fundraising Committee and the International Journal of Librarianship (IJoL) invite you to contribute to IJoL. Submissions of research papers, field reports, case studies, and other original papers will be considered for possible inclusion in a special issue under the theme “Pathways to Library Leadership.” Topics include but are not limited to:

Brief Introduction to the Journal
The International Journal of Librarianship (IJoL) is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on sharing and spreading new ideas and developments in library and information science worldwide. Published biannually, IJoL is open access and indexed and full text available in EBSCO and ProQuest databases; listed in Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ) and many other online directories. In addition, it is permanently preserved by the Library of Congress and the LOCKSS/PKP PLN system. The journal welcomes original research papers, field reports, reviews, commentaries, or news as specified on the journal’s website under Section Policies: https://journal.calaijol.org/index.php/ijol/about.
