Election Statement:

I am honored to be nominated for CALA
Board of Directors.  As a life member, I
am committed to CALA and its members.  CALA
is an organization where we can learn and share knowledge and experiences; advance
our profession and bridge us to the mainstream and 21st century

I am proud to have served on a number of CALA committees. I have
witnessed the dedication and efforts of many CALA leaders, who try to bring
more opportunities to advance our members.
They spent valuable days and nights working on projects, designing
programs and agendas to perfect CALA. Many of these efforts and contributions
are highly recognized by ALA and nationwide.

If elected, I will continue the good will of CALA to carry out the
goals and missions. I will work with the board, the president to truly think
for our members and act in their best interest. I will use my knowledge,
experiences and resources to create better services and more opportunities. I
will foster mentoring programs for young librarians, embracing all members; hearing
them, representing and voicing for them.
I will do my best to make CALA a place for all of us to grow.
