Western Washington University Libraries seeks a visionary and collaborative leader to develop and lead a comprehensive program for teaching and learning in the Western Libraries and Learning Commons.
This Director will design, implement, and assess an integrated teaching and learning program that engages students and instructors from across the University. The Director helps advance new teaching and learning initiatives, including the online learning environment, student learning outcomes, and research-writing instruction in support of academic colleges’ curricula. As a member of the Dean’s Leadership Group, the Director works collaboratively with librarians, staff, student employees, Learning Commons partners, and external stakeholders toward shared goals. This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position -- rank and salary to be determined by professional experience.
