Speakers:
Barbara Ford, Former ALA President and Director of the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs and Mortenson Distinguished Professor at the Library of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will speak on opportunities outside of CALA titled " Leadership Initiatives and Opportunities for CALA members "
Nancy Hershoff, Head of Bibliographic Control Department, Biscayne Bay Campus Library, Florida International University and current chair of the CALA Constitutions and Bylaws Committee, will speak on "Why are you important to the continuing success of CALA?" She will also touch upon the CALA structure.
Ling Hwey Jeng, former CALA President and Professor and Director, School of Library and Information Studies, Texas Woman's University, will speak on leadership skills, organizational management, and especially the personal transformation that we, as members and officers of the association, must have in order to contribute to the association's growth and effectiveness. Her title is "Leadership as Teachable and Learnable Services."
