Position: Librarian II (Children's Specialist)

Annual Salary: $48,464 - $58,906

San Diego County Library is seeking a dynamic, outgoing Librarian II for children's programming. This position plays an important support role in developing county-wide Youth Services initiatives for all branches in the San Diego County Library System, and works closely with Headquarters coworkers and Branch staff to ensure the success of core services in the Branches. SDCL is an exciting, growing system with frequent staff trainings, adequate funding and a commitment to customer-centered services. The position reports to and works under the direction of the Librarian III, Youth Services Coordinator. This full-time position is located at Library Headquarters, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends; travel may be required.

Eligible applicants must possess a master's degree in Library Science from an accredited college or university, or certificate of foreign equivalency AND two (2) years of full-time experience as a professional librarian.
